Here Is A Cheap Cleaning Remedy For Your Costume Jewelry:

For brass jewelry, gold plate jewelry or gold costume jewelry, you could clean it with lemon juice, dilute in cool water, in a small bowl for 2-3 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and wipe with paper towel or an old t-shirt. This is the cheapest remedy I personally use and it really works.
For silver plate or metal, you can use baking soda or toothpaste. Just add a little baking soda or toothpaste on a damp paper towel or an old T-shirt rub until clean, then rinse in cool water and wipe and shine.
